Superior Source's Activated B-12, Methylcobalamin, B-6 (P-5-P) & Methylfolate is a MicroLingual® instant-dissolve tablet designed to support homocysteine metabolism with activated B vitamins. It provides methylcobalamin (1,000 mcg), L-5 methyltetrahydrofolate (1,667 mcg DFE), and pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (2 mg) in forms the body can readily use, with the folate dose matching common supplementation levels for this active form.
This product uses a sublingual delivery method intended to bypass stomach acid, which the manufacturer notes can degrade some B-12 supplements. The tablets dissolve under the tongue for rapid absorption but can also be swallowed if preferred. It contains lactose and natural cherry flavor, and is available in a 60-count package.
